This notice explains what information we process when you use the Donate form, why we process it, and the choices available to you. It applies specifically to donation enquiries and the newsletter choice shown in that form.

• Your selected instant-messaging platform and the message you send.
• Your Yes or No newsletter choice.
• The page from which you submitted the Donate form.

Limited technical information

To secure and troubleshoot the donation service, each accepted submission also stores the browser user-agent, browser and operating-system family, device class, accepted language, HTTP version, and approximate country, first-level region and time zone supplied by our content-delivery provider.

The donation record does not retain your raw IP address, precise GPS location, city, postal code, latitude or longitude, screen or hardware attributes, canvas data, or browser and TLS fingerprints. Technical metadata is treated as informational and is not used to authenticate or uniquely identify you.

Storage, sharing and retention

Submission records are held in private, access-controlled and encrypted storage. They may be processed by hosting and content-delivery providers acting for us to operate the website. We do not sell Donate-form information. Records are retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and applicable legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Your choices and rights

You may ask whether we hold your Donate-form information and request access, correction or deletion where applicable. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw your newsletter choice without affecting earlier processing.
